Take a Selfie with Robbie Williams in Madame Tussauds Budapest

2025.09.12

Before his concert in Budapest, Robbie Williams' wax figure arrived at the local Madame Tussauds. You can take a selfie with him right before his show. If you're visiting Budapest later, don't worry — the wax figure will be there until November.

"The popular English singer-songwriter Robbie Williams will be our guest until the beginning of November! Now you can meet the star before his concert on Friday - take a seat in our Cinema Cafe!" - Madame Tussauds Budapest wrote on Facebook, as they announced the arrival of their new superstar, who will be staying for a couple of weeks.

This is Robbie Williams' first visit to Budapest as a wax figure, but he has performed here several times in person: he was a performer on the main stage at Sziget Festival and filled both Puskás Stadium and Papp László Sports Arena (the namesakes of the latter two venues can also be found at Madame Tussauds Budapest). The figure arrived from Vienna and was placed next to E.T. in the Madame Tussauds Budapest Cinema Cafe.

The singer-songwriter really did everything he could to become a Madame Tussauds figure—in London, Berlin, and now Budapest—as the now 51-year-old global superstar burst onto the scene as a teenager with the boy band Take That, which he left after five years and 25 million records sold to pursue a solo career. The success of this is well illustrated by a 2006 Guinness World Record: 1.6 million tickets were sold in a single day for the stops on his world tour. We have him to thank for hits such as Angels, Let Me Entertain You, Rock DJ, Feel, Kids, Something Stupid, Come Undone and Millennium, and he has sung duets with stars such as Kylie Minogue, Nicole Kidman, Kelly Clarkson and Michael Bublé.

Robbie Williams' incredible success continues today: in a month's time, he will release his 13th studio album, Britpop, and his solo exhibition, Radical Honesty, is on display in London, where he expresses his emotions through paintings and sculptures, including the theme of modern-day anxiety.

Robbie lives as a respectable family man with his wife, actress Ayda Field, and their four children. The rock star has been interested in paranormal phenomena and aliens for decades, so he will certainly feel at home as E.T.'s neighbor at Cinema Café.
