After years of anticipation, the Biodome at the Budapest Zoo is beginning a new chapter with the opening of its central hall as the Biodome Urban Oasis, a permanent indoor attraction that visitors can enjoy throughout the year.

Visitors heading to Budapest’s City Park -right behind Heroes' Square- in the coming years can expect to see more green space and fewer fenced-off areas, following a recent decision that will reshape the future of one of the capital’s most popular parks.

Visitors will be treated to three free outdoor cinema screenings a week for two months in the City Park in Budapest.

In summer, the Budapest Biodome will welcome visitors with exotic plants and animals, as well as a 14.5-meter-high waterfall.
