On October 23, 2025, there will be an open day at the Parliament on the occasion of the national holiday.

Those interested can view the Holy Crown for free between 3 and 8 p.m in the Parliament. Due to the high demand, queues are expected. The building can only be entered after a security check. Large bags and packages, as well as objects that could cause personal injury (knives, knives, gas spray, etc.) are not allowed.

On October 23, visits to the Parliament itself will be suspended.

The exhibitions of the Parliament Museum are also open to the interested. The exhibition entitled A Thousand Years of Hungarian Legislature can be viewed free of charge between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and the In memoriam 25 October 1956 memorial site and exhibition can be viewed free of charge between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the final placement of the Holy Crown and the coronation insignia, an exhibition entitled The Holy Crown in the Parliament was opened in the Lapidary of the Parliament, which can also be visited free of charge between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
