Papa Roach will perform in Budapest again next year. The world-famous American rock band, which has been around for more than three decades, will perform at Budapest Park on June 9, 2026.
The band will continue its Rise of the Roach tour in Europe, with the Hungarian capital as one of its stops. Papa Roach will be supported by Trivium, the organizer Live Nation told MTI on Tuesday.
Two-time Grammy nominee Papa Roach (Jacoby Shaddix – vocals, keyboards; Jerry Horton – guitar, vocals; Tobin Esperance – bass guitar, vocals; Tony Palermo – drums) is one of the big guns of hard rock music. The band has released eleven studio albums so far, with their latest, Ego Trip, released in 2022 on their own label, New Noize Records.
Since the release of Ego Trip, they have amassed over 360 million streams worldwide, with four chart-topping singles, including 2023's Leave a Light On (Talk Away the Dark), which became the band's biggest hit of the past decade. Papa Roach is not bad in terms of hits, with a total of 26 of their songs reaching the top 10 and twelve number-ones. The band has considered it important to raise awareness of mental health from the beginning, and one of their most popular songs, Last Resort, released in 2000, is a testament to this.
Papa Roach last performed in Hungary this summer at the Sziget Festival, and before that they also played at the VOLT Festival in Sopron in 2019. Trivium, who will be opening for them next June, last visited our country in 2023.
