Marilyn Manson is set to perform in Budapest next July. The American rock star, known for his provocative and scandalous productions, and his band will perform in Budapest Park on July 22, 2026.
Marilyn Manson and his band went on tour again last year with their twelfth studio album, One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1. They will return to Hungary next year after almost a decade, the organizer Live Nation told MTI on Tuesday.

The band was formed in 1989, and they - and the singer, originally Brian Hugh Warner - created their name by merging the names of Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson. The frontman, who initially worked as a journalist, believed that the sex symbol and the murderous cult leader were just sensationalists for the media.
This choice already indicated that Marilyn Manson wants to be both a citizen-killer and a critic. They released their first album in 1994 on Trent Reznor's (Nince Inch Nails) then-starting label. The band's second album, Antichrist Superstar, brought them fame in 1996. Marilyn Manson recently announced on his Instagram that his thirteenth album is coming soon, so it's possible that the audience will be able to hear songs from it in Budapest.
Scandalous on the stage and beyond
This is Manson's first international tour since actress Evan Rachel Wood, and later several other women, accused the star of sexual harassment, rape, and assault. The prosecution ultimately did not press charges due to the statute of limitations, and the evidence was not found to be sufficient. Known for his provocative, scandalous productions, Marilyn Manson last performed at Budapest Park in 2017, and before that, he played at the VOLT Festival in 2009.
In addition to music, Marilyn Manson is also active in other arts: he paints pictures and has acted in several films and series.
