Ahead of the official Grand Opening of the four-star superior Mamaison Hotel Chain Bridge Budapest, renowned interior designer Zoltán Varró gave an exclusive tour of the house to the press last week.
Located at 6 Mérleg Street, a premium-quality, 54-suite all-suite boutique hotel designed by Aladár Münich has opened as the fourth hotel in Budapest by CPI Hotels a. s. The designer drew inspiration from the bohemian nightclubs and cabarets of the 1930s: the Miss Arizona Club on Nagymező Street comes to life on the wallpapers and textiles in the hotel’s interior. Every detail of the Mamaison Hotel Chain Bridge Budapest evokes the luxury of Art Deco: unique wallpapers, elegant carpets, special headboards and sophisticated accessories create an inimitable atmosphere.
The evening of September 25th started with a speech by Zoltán Varró, who showed through a captivating short film where he got his inspiration for the design.
In addition, among the attractions was a welcome champagne lady in period dress, as well as revue dancers who evoked the festive atmosphere of Miss Arizona. Of course, the exclusive house tour could not be missed, and a dinner that matched the theme and drinks served in Zsolnay porcelain cups made the experience even more authentic.
The guests were greeted by István Nagy-Szász and Dóra Anek, regional manager and sales & marketing director of CPI Hotels Hungary Kft., who emphasized how happy they were that after the long wait due to Covid, this hotel, which represents a unique concept on the Hungarian market, was finally able to open successfully.
