In 2025, in addition to the traditional Light tram and the Santa Claus Trolley, five different trams, a cogwheel resplendent in festive lights and the Santa Claus Bus will also be operating.
The festive light fleet is one of the most beautiful and beloved Advent attractions in Budapest every year: the decorated trams, trolleys and buses bring a special, warm atmosphere to everyday winter. The vehicles, illuminated by several kilometers of light strings, are not only beautiful, but also make the journey a real experience, whether you travel on the usual route or board them as part of a festive program.
In 2025, in addition to the traditional Light tram and the Santa Claus Trolley, five different trams, a cogwheel resplendent in festive lights and the Santa Claus Bus will also be operating. You can travel on all services at the normal fare, meaning that if you have a valid ticket or pass, you do not need to buy a separate ticket to board.
You can travel on the first "light vehicles" from November 28.
