Grammy-awarded Artist Kid Cudi to Join Sziget Festival's Lineup instead of ASAP Rocky

2025.07.07

Following the unexpected cancellation of several of A$AP Rocky's European concerts, Kid Cudi has been confirmed as a performer at this year's Sziget Festival.

Kid Cudi will perform at this year's Sziget Festival instead of A$AP Rocky, who has unexpectedly cancelled several of his European concerts in August. The new performer is also American and a rapper. Kid Cudi will be the headline act on the main stage on Friday 8 August, the organisers told MTI on Monday.

They wrote that Kid Cudi is one of the most interesting figures in hip-hop and R&B culture, a kind of musical fashion dictator. He exploded onto the scene in 2008, quickly climbing to the top of the Billboard charts with his debut album, Man on the Moon: The End of Day.

The 41-year-old performer has released ten successful albums so far in his career, which have sold more than 22 million copies worldwide in total.

He has also won two Grammys, both in 2012, for the song 'All of the Lights', which he recorded with Kanye West, Rihanna and Fergie.

According to the latest news, Kid Cudi is working on a new album, the first single of which, titled "Neverland", was released in May this year.

Interestingly, Kid Cudi's real name is Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi — a fact that Travis Scott, one of his biggest fans, acknowledged by taking the stage name Scott as a tribute.
