This is the place where steak and potato pasta easily fit on the same menu, but they are most proud of their goose dishes. The menu is rounded off with a selection of Hungarian wines and the local spirit - pálinka. Meet SIMALIBA in downtown Budapest, a few minutes from the Elisabeth Bridge at a crossing of Váci street.
As a traditional Hungarian restaurant, their aim is to prepare dishes in the classic way, as they were originally conceived. It is true that their authentic dishes are not reinvented, they are served in the good ol' way Hungarian grandmothers would cook them, from the world-famous Goulash soup to the crispy goose leg.
