MVM Dome

Completed in late 2021 with the opening in December, it was initially known as the Budapest Multifunctional Arena and was renamed after major sponsor MVM Group in early 2022.

Designed by architect György Skardelli, covering 50,000 m² with a seating capacity of about 20,022 spectators, including VIP lounges and 49 skyboxes. The building’s shape and facade are inspired by muscle fibers, enhanced by dynamic programmable lighting that transforms the exterior at night. Equipped with cutting‑edge sound, lighting and visual systems, cable‑free flicker‑free sports lighting suitable for HDTV and super‑slow‑motion, and an internal central LED display cube weighing over 12 tonnes.
