Budapest Card is a season ticket for tourists issued by Tourism Office of Budapest.

If you book a card, you will receive a voucher via e-mail. In exchange for this voucher, you can take over your purchased card at the designated tourism offices in Budapest.

You may not modify or cancel your booking of Budapest Card afterwards. Tourism Office of Budapest shall not reimburse the price of cards not taken over or cards that were taken over but remained unused, and shall not replace such cards by cards for the following year.

Tourism Office of Budapest shall not reimburse the price of stolen or lost cards.

Cards ordered for a particular year are only valid in that given year. The vouchers issued upon order may be exchanged for a card on 31st December at the latest. You may begin to use the issued card on 31st December of the given year at the latest. The validity period of cards that were first used on the last days of the year may be carried over to the following year.

Budapest Card vouchers may only be exchanged for the actual cards in the designated tourism offices listed on the voucher. Cards purchased online may only be issued in return for a voucher that certifies prior booking. The card is booked for a particular person and it may not be transferred, so you are kindly requested to present your passport or identity card upon reception.

Having taken over the card, the owner must write the beginning date of the validity period on the card. Overwritten, corrected or illegible cards may not be used, and Tourism Office of Budapest shall not replace them.

Budapest Card is valid for a particular person. The services may be used by the card owners and an accompanying child of the age of 14 at most.

Tourism Office of Budapest shall not assume responsibility for accidents or damages occurring in the event of using the card.

The brochure of the card contains a detailed description of how to use Budapest Card, as well as the list of service providers accepting the card in the given year. After the editing process is closed, Tourism Office of Budapest shall not take responsibility for any changes occurring in the brochure or on the www.budapestinfo.hu website operated by Tourism Office of Budapest.
