Szentendre Tour (EU7)
Located to the north of Budapest, Szentendre lies on the Danube bank. The city, which is also called the gate of the Danube bend, has a Mediterranean atmosphere due to the various religions practiced. In the cobble streets of Szentendre you can find small colorful baroque wine cellars, unique museums, art galleries, churches, coffee houses and many different shops. During our tour we ensure that you will have the opportunity to shop and rest.

The quiet life of this small town attracts artists from the beginning of the century. More than a hundred of fine artists, handicrafts men as well as writers, poets, music artists and actors live and constitute in the city. During our trip we will see the world famous Caprice diamond processor and the museum, which also possesses a shop. Here you will hear a short multimedia presentation about Hungarian history and jewelers, as well as the curiosities of diamond making.
We will also visit an interesting museum, where you will be able to see key figures of the Hungarian history, embroidered cushions, story characters, famous buildings and people coming alive from marzipan. During the visit to the Marzipan Museum you will have an opportunity to drink coffee and buy cookies.
Your tour returns to Budapest by the Danube river boat (May 1st – September 30th). Outside these dates or in case of low or high tide, you will return to the city centre by air-conditioned coach.

The tour is guaranteed to be guided in maximum 2 languages. On every tour English and German languages are guaranteed, and if needed Italian, French and Spanish guiding is provided.

November 1 - march 31 every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 10 AM
Prices include a pick-up fee, so all guests are transferred to meeting point from any Budapest hotel or private address in half an hour before the start. Pick-up service: please let us know if you need our free pick-up service. Indicate the hotel or private address where you need the pick-up. The tour ends in front of Hotel Intercontinental.
