Etyek Wine Tour (EU8)
The Etyek wine region is one of Hungary's 20 official wine regions. Located just outside Budapest, the entire produce of the region was used for champagne production. This policy was abolished in 1990, making Etyek the home of the best Hungarian white wine.

The tour is a guided wine-tasting trip, led by a professional employed by the Haraszthy-Vallejo Wine Cellar, a renowned winery located in a well-equipped visitor centre in the village of Etyek.
After the tasting, tasty snacks are served inside the winery or in the visitors' garden. During the tour, you will learn the basic methods and principles of wine-making, and the characteristics of Hungarian white and rose wine, and history of Hungarian wine-making. You will be able to taste the unique wine jelly, and you can also buy the wines you taste. The tour ends in the city centre of Budapest.
Languages:
The tour is guaranteed to be guided in maximum 2 languages. On every tour English and German languages are guaranteed, and if needed Italian, French and Spanish guiding is provided.
Departures:
April 1 - oktober 31 every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 2.30 PM
November 1 - march 31 no tour
Prices include a pick-up fee, so all guests are transferred to meeting point from any Budapest hotel or private address in half an hour before the start. Pick-up service: please let us know if you need our free pick-up service. Indicate the hotel or private address where you need the pick-up. The tour ends in front of Hotel Intercontinental.
