The Bringóhintó (Bike Carriage) is a special means of transport in Budapest, offered for rent mainly in Budapest’s public parks. The base structure consists of two parallel bicycles with a chassis wedged on top and a seat; it is controlled with pedals and a steering wheel.
There are versions for small children, single-seaters and giant tandems, accommodating 6 people. The most popular venue for renting a Bringóhintó is the Margaret Island, as cars are forbidden from entering and the natural environment is perfect for this sport. There are companies which arrange rentals not only for use in parks but even a Budapest sightseeing tour.
