The former Kis-Orbán Commercial House was built in 1810. It was converted into a corner house as a result of the opening of the 1825 Town Hall. Today’s administrative building was later transformed into a shopping arcade in 1840. The block was connected to the Town Hall in 1906 via a first storey connecting bridge.
