The hotel is situated in one of the most scenic spots of the Mecsek Mountains, right above the downtown of Pecs. The hotel offers a unique, spectacular view over the town and the neighboring hills. The area of the hotel is also served by public transport, but the hotel provides shuttle transfers as well.

In the 3 storey building - which is under protection of the Heritage Authorities of Hungary - there are 33 refurbished rooms with an unforgettable view onto the forest of Mecsek or a view over the town. In 2009 another 30 rooms will be opened in addition to meeting rooms, a winery palace and a Beauty Clinic.

Pécs is located in the southern part of the Mecsek Mountains with a Mediterranean climate. The town is famous for its relics of the past. The more than 2000 years old town is the home of arts and culture and is famous for its museums as well as for its artistic life. It is also referred to as the region of grapes and wine.

From Budapest the town can be reached via the main route 6 within 3 hours or by train within 2,5 hours. From the train station take the bus number 34 or 35. You have to get off at the stop: Hotel Kikelet. The nearest airport - 15 km Pogány (Austrian Airlines) The nearest train station - 4km The nearest bus station - 4km

The hotel offers 2 restaurants, which offer International cuisine. One has a capacity for up to 70 people, the other for up to 80 people. The hotel also has a retro bar from the ’80s. Looking down from the terrace of the Kikelet, guests can enjoy one of the most breathtaking panoramas of the country.
