Our hotel is housed in a renovated original timbered granary, introducing modern comforts to a rustic, rural atmosphere in a peaceful location surrounded by fields. We follow an ecological philosophy which means that much of the food we serve in our restaurant has been grown locally and organically. By the open fire we serve fresh Hungarian and vegetarian food accompanied by homemade bread. During your stay in one of our cosy buildings, you can use wireless internet access for free, enjoy a complimentary breakfast and free parking. To make the most of the fresh air and the natural surroundings, there are lots of cycle, riding and hiking paths to explore. The medieval city of Köszeg, Jak - the oldest Roman church from the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, the Orseg national park, various lakes for swimming and Austria can all be reached within 30 minutes. Our Restaurant offers typical Hungarian cuisine and also vegetarian food based on organic products. We are located 100 m from the E65 between Kormend and Szombathely. The train station is 1 km away.

Our Kastell hotel is part of a rural village close to Szombathely (capital of western Hungary). We are situated amidst a large romantic garden of more than 1 hectare in size. In the immediate surroundings you find lots of woods and farmland.

Our countryside hotel is located 150 meter from the E65 / N 86, half-way between Szombathely and Kormend. The train station of Egyhazasradoc is 1 km away. Several international trains stop there.

We offer typical Hungarian cuisine and vegetarian dishes, made from fresh, local ingredients whenever possible. Choose from famous and new Hungarian and Austrian wines. For breakfast you can savour our delicious, home-made 'dark' bread.

In case a room is booked for one night only, an extra charge of EUR 5 per person has to be paid at the hotel. For 2 nights or more the published prices are applicable.
