Civis Grand Hotel Aranybika - Debrecen

The Cívis Grand Hotel Aranybika is located in the heart of Debrecen, next to the Reformed Cathedral. The present Art Nouveau building was built in 1915 according to the design of Alfréd Hajós, Hungary's first Olympic Champion. Our hotel has 205 bedrooms (including suites, connecting and superior rooms with wireless internet access, and family apartments). The Wellness and Health Centre, Beauty Parlour, restaurants and bar provide welcome, additional services for both tourists and business travellers. The hotel is also an ideal place for meetings, training events and conferences for up to 400 people

By Car: - From Budapest (220 km - about 2 hours) take the M3 then M35 motorways. - Head towards Debrecen and once you reach the town, take Böszörményi út. - Continue straight ahead until you reach Segner János tér. - Turn left here into Hatvan utca and proceed straight on until you reach the final road on the right (the OTP bank is on the right-hand side). - You will now see the hotel's guarded car park. By Train: Intercity trains from Budapest take about 2.5 hours and depart every hour from the Western Railway Station. Once you arrive at the station you can either take a tram to the hotel (4 stops) or a taxi (5 minutes). By Air: From Debrecen Airport you can take a taxi. Alternatively, transfers can be provided on request (15 minutes).

The Aranybika Restaurant (Glass Hall) offers international and Hungarian cuisine (vegetarian and diet menu options are also available). We also have the Debrecen Club, Trendo Restaurant (with open-air terrace), Confectionery and Bázis Dance Club.
