Bara Guest House - Budapest

Bara Guest House is located in the heart of Budapest, on highway M1 and M7 and 2-3 minutes from the city centre. It is 400 metres from Elisabeth Bridge and the Danube, close to all the exciting sites and high streets by the feet of Gellért Hill, the Castle Hill and Citadel. There are more shopping centres and thermal baths (like Gellért) near us. The public transportation is excellent, you can reach every district and attractions easily from hear. Bara Guest House offers a tasteful atmosphere to leisure looking for relaxation and comfort. The Bara Guest House is the third part of Hotel Bara, also situated in the quiet garden side, not far from the main road, it is connected to the main building through a corridor ( 50 meters ) with a few stairs.

The building has 4 floors and there is no elevator. The deep garage has a capacity for 80 cars. Our hotel has a conference centre is a suitable place for organising any kind of event. Within the four different conference rooms we can sit 10 to 450 people. The conference rooms are air-conditioned with natural light and the most up-to-date conference equipment. Ironing services - upon request - ask for a price list at the reception desk. We can arrange various programs for our guests such as sightseeing, folklore evening, boat tour, Danube bend tour, and Pusta Horse show.

Bara Guest House is situated in a very nice green area of the Buda side on Gellért hill, next to the Citadella and Buda Castle. We are within strolling distance of the sights and have instant access to Budapest's safe and efficient transport system.

Arriving by car: From the direction of motorways M1/M7 (Vienna): - Follow the signs towards the city centre/Erzsébet híd. - You'll reach and pass through a flyover with a right curve. - On the flyover you'll see the big building of Hotel Novotel on the left hand side. - Hotel Bara is about 300 metres from here on the right hand side of the road. From the direction of motorway no. M5 (E75): - Follow the signs towards the city centre. - At the end of the road turn to the right towards Árpád Bridge. - After 500 meters turn to the left beside Stadium FTC. - Follow signs towards the city centre. - Passing by Hotel Korona you'll reach and cross the Danube on Erzsébet (Elizabeth) Bridge direction to motorways M1 – 7 (Wien) you will find the hotel after 800 metres on the left hand side. Arriving with Public Transportation: From the Déli (South) Railway Station: Take tram number 61 in the direction Móricz Zs. Tér. Get off at the 4th stop (Hegyalja út), where you'll see Hotel Novotel on the right hand side. Change to bus number 8 or 112 (the stop is beside restaurant Arany Híd) and get off at the first stop. From the Nyugati (West) Railway Station: Take the Metro in the direction Kőbánya-Kispest through Deák tér. Get off a the 3rd stop (Ferenciek tere). Beside the church you will find a bus stop. Take bus number 8 or 112. and get off at the third stop ( Mészáros u.), the hotel is on the left hand side. From the Keleti (East) Railway Station: Take bus number 78 at the station .The bus passes through the Elizabeth Bridge (Erzsébet híd). Get off at the 5th stop after the bridge (Zsolt u.), go 200 metres straight ahead in Mészáros street and turn to the right at the corner and you will find the hotel on the opposite side. Our buffet breakfast will be served in the restaurant between 07:00 and 10:00. Our restaurant offers Hungarian specialities and international dishes from 12:00 until 22:00. Our bar offers international drinks and hungarian specialities and is open between 07:00 and 23:00.
