Panorama and Boat Ride (CY3)
A boat ride and a walk on the Margaret Island together with Buda sightseeing. A short walk in the Castle District with a guide, and after that during the boat sightseeing you will have an opportunity to take spend a pleasant hour on the Margaret Island.

The first stop of the tour is the Buda Castle, where during a short walk you will be able to take a look at the Matthias Church, Office of the President of the Republic of Hungary, the Alexander Palace, in front of which the morning musical changing of the guards takes place and of course the Palace of the Hungarian President, which gives a home to National collections and museums. You will be able to admire the Danube-bank from the Fishermen’s Bastion, which was declared part of the World Heritage.
After the walk in the Castle District, the Castle Hill Funicular (opened in 1870) will take us to the Adam Clark square, from where we walk over to the Pest side by taking the oldest suspension bridge of continental Europe, the Chain Bridge. After this spectacular walk we take a Boat Ride on the Danube (the price includes a beverage). During the boat trip you can enjoy the 360-degree panorama offered by the glass-covered deck which can be removed in case of good weather. Our highly sophisticated state-of-the-art technical equipment offers you the possibility to listen to our computer controlled programs in 30 languages, and if you wish a guide will get you acquainted with the sights of Budapest.
You will spend one-one pleasant and meaningful hour on the deck and the Margaret Island, where you will have the opportunity to walk around with a guide for one hour. You can leave out the Margaret Island, in this case you can stay on the boat which will take you back to the city-centre. Those who will stay for the walk will go back to the port one hour later with the next boat.
Languages:
The tour is guaranteed to be guided in maximum 2 languages. On every tour English and German languages are guaranteed, and if needed Italian, French and Spanish guiding is provided.
Departure:
April 1 - october 31 every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 2.30 PM
November 1 - march 31 no tour
In case of pick-up, guests are transferred to meeting point from any Budapest hotel or private address in half an hour before the start. Please let us know if you need our pick-up service. Indicate the hotel or private address where you need the pick-up.
