Majestically facing the Hungarian Parliament, this building is worth a visit, even if it didn't house the largest museum dedicated to Hungarian ethnography.
Formerly the Royal Court, the building is an architectural mixture of Baroque, Renaissance and Classical elements. The main theme is the traditional culture of the Hungarians. There are almost 139,000 items on display which are of Hungarian origin, an a further 50,000 of international origin.
