City: Budapest
Area: District 2.
Phone: 325 6001
Opening Hours: Wed-Mon 10:00 AM to 4.00 PM

One of the most beautiful natural caves of Europe, with unparalelled mineral formations. This cave is much easier to visit than the Pálvölgyi cave, so it’s also suitable for children.

The aragonite crystal formations and dripstones are under state protection. Tours start every hour - again, make sure you bring a jacket or sweater, even in the summer.

How to get there:

Take bus # 29 from Kolosy tér, and get off at Szemlőhegyi barlang stop.
